I think it is very reasonable to say that a professional triple jumper would have a pretty darn good Euro step, and there is no doubt that triple jump training would help basketball players develop theirs, amongst other skills. The same goes for just about any basketball player. I know that if I still coached football, little would make me more excited than hearing a skill position player was being trained to be a triple jumper.
